How to set out solo, but not travel alone: Trips, tips and ideas for the active traveler.
The title of a story in yesterday’s Calgary (Canada) Herald was, "Solo Travel Not So Lonely After All." The writer describes three separate trips: cooking in Sicily; hiking in Ireland and going to a spa on Vancouver Island.
ALL of them appealed to me. Now I just need the time off work and the money to pay for them all. The usual problem.

Hm, I have never heard something more detailed about those spa, but they look wonderful. Sometimes I am really lacking sun, water and hot air here in Vancouver and wellness centres in the city are not able to provide enough relax to me. You can’t be in building standing on the a busy street pretending you are in the middle of unspoiled nature. But that’s living in a big city…Maybe I will check it next year!
